Selon 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, Ie Commandeur des croyants, Ie Prophète (saw) a dit : La validité des actes dépend des intentions [qui les animent], et chaque homme n'a pour lui que ce qui est conforme à son intention. Celui qui émigre pour Dieu et Son Prophète, son émigration lui sera comptée comme étant pour Dieu et Son Prophète. Quant à celui qui émigre pour un bien de ce monde ou pour épouser une femme, son émigration lui sera comptée comme telle. [Bukhari et Muslim]
