Mali : La loi sur les salaires, primes et indemnités des membres du Conseil national de transition (CNT), promulguée
In Mali, the law on salaries, bonuses and allowances of members of the National Transitional Council (NTC) was published on July 31, 2025, in the Official Journal after its promulgation by the President of the Transition, General Assimi Goita.
The text states that the president of the CNT will have a "monthly salary based on the highest index of the civil service (1800) plus special sums of money and compensation for housing and fuel."
The other members of the transitional legislative body will have a "monthly salary based on a high index (1650) similar to that of a senior civil servant, and will also receive money for each session they attend, for accommodation, for gasoline, and a "special allowance" as members of the CNT."
Those with important roles, such as heads of committees or members of the CNT office, will benefit from additional bonuses.
Furthermore, the text states that the sums of money already received by the members of the CNT "remain acquired".
