Réouverture du stade du 04 août au Burkina : Rigobert Song enfile son costume de coach, Diouf - Eto’o, le duo de feu
Last Monday, Burkina Faso reopened the August 4 Stadium in Ouagadougou.
A completely renovated sports arena which now meets the criteria of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
To mark the occasion, a series of activities were organized at the refurbished facilities. One of the most interesting was the gala match between the former glories of African football and a team from the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).

Before the match, Rigobert Song, the African legends' coach, invited his players to put on a show for the Burkinabe fans. This is somewhat what they did on the pitch. The attacking trio of Samuel Eto'o, El Hadji Diouf, and Emmanuel Adebayor performed very well.
As proof, the visitors scored through Samuel Eto'o on an assist from the Senegalese legend. The final score of the match was one goal each (1-1).
It's worth noting that, in addition to Eto'o, Diouf, and Adebayor, other African football legends such as Augustin Jay Jay Okocha, Seydou Keita, Mamadou Niang, and Alain Traoré made the trip. They weren't all starters, but everyone participated in the celebrations.
