WARNING to Gambian people from the Gambian Jola Community.

Pa, This is Aphone Jarju writing these few lines of Warning to our fellow Gambians.
When Jammeh took power after the first elections in 1996 Jammeh summon all the Jola sub tribes in the Gambia and told them this;
We have now taken over the Gambia and from whence forward Jolas will rule the Gambia for many years to come. In order for us Jolas to control the government we need to be serious on our schooling. We should make sure that all jola children go to school and we should not adopt family planning amongst ourselves as we need to multiply our numbers as fast as possible. He said he would make sure all jola children will have scholarships and we should also encourage our parents from Casamance to come settle in the Gambia. He told us that as soon a jola graduate from university he will attach them to an institution and after 3 years of the job training he will make him or her the head of that institution. He told us that we should enroll in the army en mass, the police and immigration. He insisted that men and women should join the army because this institution will guaranty the security of the jola hegemony in the Gambia. He said he would make sure that jolas rise up to high positions in all the security apparatus. He said took power because he felt that the jolas are not respected in the Gambia because of their lack of education and that most jolas satisfy them selves with menial jobs and that he came to rectify this and show the whole world that jolas will rule the Gambia whether they like it or not. He said he will make sure the jolas are highly respected in the Gambia and that the jola language will be spoken openly and loudly in the streets and offices without fear and that everyone of should put hands on deck. He made a lot of money donations and food items to the jola community over the years. The many festivities are also meant to feed us well.
To the jola maids, he has given concoctions to add to the food of their employers so to make them docile and fearful. For Gambian personalities he gave concoctions to drive them slowly sick. To the jola watchmen he gave jujus to burry in their respective compounds so that those who hate him will go on exile. He said he will also provoke a lot of the other Gambian tribesmen specially mandinkas to go on exile so that over time jolas will outnumber the other Gambian tribes. He finally told us that any jola who brake the ongoing secret oath will face the consequences, he said he is here for us in he will prove to us that his plans will come to fruition to the delight of all jolas in Gambia and Casamance.
Pa, all the jolas maids and watchmen report on what they know about Gambian personalities to specific jola people that work with the NIA, Police and other agents. They in turn will determine what information to retain or discard. There are certain secrets that non-jolas people will not be privy to if it concerns the general welfare of the jola community.
Well Pa the good news is that recently for some reason all of Jammeh’s evil deeds are going down the drain and he keeps saying that past Muslims elders who died long time ago are destroying all his plans and he believe his jalangs are getting weak and cannot counter the prayers that these old past away Muslims elders are doing for the other tribes men in the Gambia. Now a days he believes his time is up and unfortunately there is nothing he can do about. Pa GOD is coming to rescue of Gambians, after 18 years of hardship, misery, poverty, terror and killing, Jammeh now feels powerless and all the jola community are worried about what will happen next. Many jolas are beginning to stash away money in Casamance just in case something unexpected happen.
Pa, we want Gambians to know that not all jolas follow or help Jammeh in his evil deeds, there are some authentic Gambian jolas who secretly refuse to succumb to Jammeh’s evils works. Pa, even the jola military men are not at peace at the moment and many complain that they make wild dreams and hallucinations when they sleep, they are very worried about what will happen, specially they know Jammeh is not as powerful as before as other unknown powerful FORCES are also working against him. Pa, Jammeh is showing signs weakness, confusion and sickness.
Pa, next time we will reveal to you about the big bunker that Jammeh built in Kanilai and will tell you what’s inside? We will also reveal the underground tunnels that Jammeh built from Kanalai right into some village in Casamance in case he and others need to escape.
Pa, let Gambians know that, from now onwards we the authentic jola community in the Gambia are in the same struggle, we are also tired of Jammeh’s evil deeds.
