Annulation du match amical Arabie Saoudite- Sénégal (communiqué)
Dakar, 6 nov(APS) - Le match amical Arabie Saoudite-Sénégal, initialement prévu le 15 novembre prochain à Riyad (Arabie Saoudite) a été annulé, annonce un communiqué de la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF) reçu vendredi à l’Agence de presse sénégalaise.
La FSF explique que, ‘’dans la dernière phase de finalisation du contrat entre les parties concernées, la Fédération saoudienne de football a fait une nouvelle offre consistant à jouer deux matches, les 13 et 15 novembre’’.
Toutefois, l’instance dirigeante du football sénégalais indique qu’elle ‘’ est restée sur sa position’’ qui prévoit que l’équipe ne joue qu’’ ’un seul match, comme initialement convenu et de préférence à la date du 14 novembre ‘’.
Elle rappelle qu’elle avait, ‘’après des discussions très avancées et un accord de principes’’ sur ‘’la tenue de ce match’’, ‘’pris les devants en adressant des convocations aux joueurs ciblés dans ce sens par l’encadrement technique’’. Une démarche qu’elle justifie par ‘’le souci’’ du respect ‘’des délais prescrits par la FIFA’’.
Toutefois, la Fédération sénégalaise de football indique qu’elle se réserve le droit d’étudier les ‘’ suites à donner à cette situation qu’elle déplore’’.
La FSF souligne qu’elle a adressé des correspondances pour ‘’ surseoir à la convocation des joueurs sélectionnés pour la rencontre amicale Arabie Saudite-Sénégal’’.
On est vraiment descendu bas, on se mesure au foot à présent avec l'Arabie Saoudite, l'Iirak est des choses du genre. Demandons un match de préparation avec l'Afghanistant pendant qu'on y est.

relisez bien avant de traiter nos dirigeants d'amateur .au dèpart il y avait un contrat pour un match et ce n'est pas une semaine avant un match quel'on change un programme d'autant plus que pratiquement tous les joueurs convoquès sont des proset qu'ils sont pris leur disposition avec ceux ci.donc je pense que la fèdèration a eu raison d'etre ferme et de rester sur sa position et d'aller jusqu'au bout de cette affaire pour tous les prèjudices que celà fera.on n'est pas les esclaves des arabes.

Il n'y a pas meilleur signe des temps, pour ceux qui en comprennent toute la symbolique, que la désaffection récente de Serigne Mamoune Niasse et son retour dans l'opposition. Elle vaut pour moi plus que le rapprochement, lui aussi significatif, entre Abdoulaye Makhtar Diop et le Parti socialiste.
