Waaw Waaw!!! So many great comments!! I know Ashley Maher. She is a marvellous singer who recorded four CDs (two for Virgin the U.K.) lives in California. She has studied sabar for ten years and is impassioned about Senegalese dance and drumming. Ashley wrote the original words (in English) and melody for Youssou NDour's sosng, "Boul Bayekou." Magatte Sow is also a young incredible tama player based in Los Angeles. Lynette Wich filmed Ashley performing /singing in Los Angeles and this sabar solo was one moment in the show.
