Mali : L’Etat prend en charge les enfants des chauffeurs de camions citernes tués lors d'attaques terroristes
At the height of the fuel crisis in Mali, several drivers and apprentice drivers of tanker trucks transporting fuel to the country's major cities were killed in terrorist attacks on the roads. The government, deeply concerned by the plight of these victims, has decided to provide for their children.

Yesterday, Friday, March 13, the Malian Prime Minister, General Abdoulaye Maiga, presided over a ceremony to officially present ward of the nation cards to these orphaned children.
This new status entitles them to full protection. In simpler terms, the Malian state will cover their medical care, their schooling (primary and secondary), vocational training costs, and scholarships for higher education.
A united Mali
For the Malian Prime Minister, this gesture by the State is an act of sovereignty illustrating a united Mali where no one is left behind.

In addition to the cards distributed to these 31 children, the government also sent 4 tons of rice to their families. This food aid should help them to feed themselves.
