SOURCE Sénégal : Le tournant numérique des partenariats public-privé
This Tuesday, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Abdourahmane Sarr, officially launched SOURCE Senegal, an innovative digital platform dedicated to the comprehensive management of public-private partnerships (PPPs). This new tool marks a significant step forward in the modernization of public administration and the promotion of digital governance, reports RTS.
The minister stressed the strategic importance of this initiative: "SOURCE PPP Senegal brings major advances," he declared.
This platform will digitize the entire PPP contracting process, from the project preparation phase to contract signing. The goal is ambitious but clear: "to reduce lead times, improve transparency, and optimize administrative costs," they reassure.
"SOURCE Senegal" is part of the digital transformation of the State, in accordance with Law No. 2021-23 of March 2, 2021 on PPPs. It guarantees compliance with international standards while ensuring national accessibility, in order to promote equitable dissemination of projects across the territory.
Minister Abdourahmane Sarr called on all public stakeholders: "Ministries, national companies and implementing agencies must integrate this solution into their internal procedures," emphasizing "the central role of inter-institutional collaboration in the success of this reform."
He also welcomed the support of technical and financial partners, including GIZ, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the SIF Foundation, for their essential contribution to the implementation of the project.
With SOURCE Senegal, “the country is taking a decisive step towards more efficient, transparent and innovative management of public projects”, thus opening the way to a new dynamic of development based on rigor, technology and cooperation.

Les PPPs ont été la plus grande source de magouilles et de marchés illicites depuis KARIM WADE. Ce régime des PPPs doit être revu et reecrit. J'EN sais que chose je travaille sur le sujet depuis 25 ans.
