Affaire fonds Covid-19 : Le Pr. Daouda Ndiaye annonce son blanchiment par la Chambre de discipline financière
Five years after the investigation began, Professor Daouda Ndiaye announced on Wednesday that he had been completely exonerated in the Force-Covid-19 funds case, in a statement published on his Facebook page and read by Seneweb. He stated that the decision was rendered on May 5, 2026, by the Financial Disciplinary Chamber of the Court of Auditors.
Professor Ndiaye chose to announce this happy outcome through a publication filled with relief and gratitude, after a procedure he describes as a long and arduous ordeal.
"Cleared in the Covid-19 funds case. Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah! I thank Allah SWT for being completely cleared by the Financial Disciplinary Chamber," he wrote.
The professor was keen to commend the work of the judicial institutions that handled this case. "Thank you to the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) which acted professionally and conducted the necessary investigations. Thank you to the Attorney General at the Court of Auditors, thank you to the judges of the Court of Auditors, thank you to the Senegalese justice system for upholding the law," he declared.
Reflecting on the length of the proceedings, he confided: "The investigation lasted almost five years. The decision was handed down on May 5, 2026." A period he described as particularly trying. "Every day was an intrinsic pain."
Professor Ndiaye concluded his statement by thanking all those who supported him during this difficult period. "I thank my family, my parents, my friends, my colleagues, and the Senegalese people who supported me during these long and arduous five years of hardship," he stated.
