«Je sais aussi comment...» : le message musclé de Sa Thiés à Modou Lô
Officially announced on August 13, the royal battle between Modou Lô and Sa Thiès is about to see its first verbal clash. The two wrestlers will meet again for a relocated face-off, scheduled for October 18 in Montreal, Canada, according to Record.
The same source specifies that this first duel will take place as part of the wrestling festival organized by Ibrahima Faye, alias Beuz. The event will take place at the Pierre-Charbonneau Center, starting at 2 p.m. local time (6 p.m. GMT). This trip is made possible thanks to a collaboration between promoter Baye Ndiaye and Beuz, with the ambition of promoting Senegalese wrestling internationally.
Sa Thiès launches hostilities
In a promotional video, Sa Thiès set the tone by launching the first verbal hostilities, promising an unprecedented confrontation in Montreal. He declared: "I'm going to throw words at Modou Lô that no one has ever said to him before. I'm going to do to him what no one has ever done to him. I know how to succeed against Modou Lô. I also know how to become King of the Arenas."
A fight with symbolic stakes
This face-off sets the stage for the fight scheduled for April 5 at the National Arena. For Modou Lô, the match has the feel of revenge by proxy: he was beaten twice by Balla Gaye 2, Sa Thiès's older brother. By facing the younger brother, he hopes to narrow the gap against Double Less's siblings.
For his part, Sa Thiès sees this duel as a golden opportunity to win against Roc des Parcelles Assainies and to assert more than ever his ambition to become the next King of the Arenas, analyses the sports daily.
