Qualifications Coupe du monde 2026 : L’Égypte décroche son ticket
Mohamed Salah's Egypt have qualified for the 2026 World Cup. In Casablanca, the Pharaohs beat Djibouti 3-0. The Egyptian goals were scored by Ibrahim Adel (8th) and Mohamed Salah (14th, 84th).
With this victory, the Pharaohs have a total of 23 points and finish first in their group, one day before the end of the qualifiers. The first African nation to have participated in a World Cup (in 1934), Egypt will be playing its fourth World Cup in North America.
In the same group, Burkina Faso, winner in Sierra Leone (1-0), is 2nd.
