Un avion militaire nigérian intercepté pour violation de l’espace aérien de l’AES
A Nigerian army C-130 aircraft was forced to land on December 8, 2025, at Bobo-Dioulasso airport in Burkina Faso, after entering the airspace of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) without authorization.
According to the statement signed by the President of the Confederation, General Assimi Goïta, the aircraft was carrying two crew members and nine military personnel.
The Burkinabe authorities immediately launched an investigation, which confirmed that the military flight lacked overflight authorization. The matter is currently being handled by the relevant authorities.
