L'actrice Claudia Cardinale est décédée à l'âge de 87 ans
French-Italian actress Claudia Cardinale, a monument of 1960s cinema, died Tuesday "at the age of 87 near her children" in Nemours, near Paris, where she lived, her agent announced to AFP in the evening.
Born in Tunis, Claudia Cardinale has worked with some of the greatest artists, including Luchino Visconti, Federico Fellini, Richard Brooks, Henri Verneuil, and Sergio Leone. "She leaves us the legacy of a free and inspired woman, both in her career as a woman and as an artist," her agent, Laurent Savry, said in a message sent to AFP.
