Réseau de la Renaissance africaine et de la Diaspora : La journaliste Salamata M. Ba nommée Éditrice francophone

Within the Communication Department of the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (Ardn), where she has officially been appointed Francophone Editor, journalist Salamata Mamadou Ba, who has contributed to meaningful initiatives aligned with her values, says she is determined to continue giving her best.

Her mission is to ensure the quality of French-language content and to support the editorial direction of the Ardn, which praises "her seriousness, consistency, and strong sense of editorial policy." She will therefore be involved in several key programs, including the Red Card campaign, initiatives related to the Sustainable Development Goals, preparatory activities for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, and institutional partnerships in Senegal and the sub-region.

Ms. Ba's appointment comes at a major strategic time for the Ardn, which is actively preparing for the World Youth Summit scheduled for 2026 in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. This event is aligned with the momentum of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games and the symbolic journey of the Red Card Flame for Equality, which will link New York to Dakar as part of the awareness campaigns led by the organization.

With nearly ten years of professional experience, Salamata Mamadou Ba has worked in several media sectors: journalism, reporting, radio and television presenting, and editorial coordination. Through her collaborations with Afrika Pulaar, Radiotélévision Fulbé, Safina FM, and Bamtare Africa, she has developed a solid understanding of Francophone audiences and regional media issues.

The African Renaissance and Diaspora Network, recognized by the US government and the United Nations, active in more than eighty countries, remains an organization that works to promote Africa and strengthen ties with diasporas through advocacy, community engagement and programs focused on sustainable development, youth empowerment and gender equality.
