Algérie : trois hommes arrêtés en tentant d’entrer en Espagne déguisés en moutons
Algerian police arrested three men who were trying to enter Spain disguised as sheep. The men hid in a truck transporting livestock and attempted to blend in with the flock by wearing sheep costumes.
According to authorities, security personnel noticed that some of the "sheep" were behaving strangely, walking on two legs and displaying visible human characteristics. The suspects were arrested. The three men were identified as Algerian nationals between the ages of 25 and 30. They face charges of immigration fraud and could also be prosecuted for animal cruelty for disturbing the livestock during their attempt to cross into Spain.
This case has sparked numerous reactions on social media, with some people calling the situation a "comedy" and others highlighting the difficulties faced by migrants trying to reach Europe.
Algerian and Spanish authorities have not yet commented on the potential consequences for the three men arrested.
