Arrêté par la DNLT à Mbour : Un trafiquant de migrants avait recruté 15 membres de sa famille
The National Division for Combating Migrant Smuggling and Related Practices (DNLT) in Saly has dismantled a migrant smuggling network operating in the coastal area of Mbour. The main courier was arrested and a large sum of money seized.
On August 27, 2025, the Saly DNLT received information from an anonymous source indicating the existence of a migrant trafficking network in the coastal area of Mbour. The use of this information led to the arrest of N. Ngack, identified as the main courier of the operation, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office.
Full confession from the suspect
During his interrogation, N. Ngack admitted to his role as the main escort of this clandestine journey, which was foiled, and to having recruited fifteen candidates for irregular migration, all members of his family. The suspect named B. Boye as his main recruiter, capable, according to him, of mobilizing around thirty migrants. However, Ngack claims to have received nothing from this recruiter and states that he only received 450,000 CFA francs from a single candidate.
During the operation, the police seized the 450,000 CFA francs found on the suspect and the sum of 287,541 CFA francs discovered on his Wave account and a mobile phone. A total of 737,541 CFA francs.
When questioned about the origin of the money in his Wave account, the suspect provided explanations that investigators deemed unconvincing.
Police officers from the DNLT branch based in Saly are actively continuing their search to arrest B. Boye, the main recruiter cited in this case and considered a key element of the network.
Meanwhile, Ng. Ngack was presented on Friday, August 29, 2025, to the financial prosecutor at the Dakar High Court for criminal conspiracy and attempted migrant smuggling by sea.

Au niveau de l'observatoire national des Investissements (ONI), il y a la cousine de Macky Sall qui s'appelle Gnilane Ndiaye et qui assure toujours les fonctions de secrétaire général avec un salaire de 2,5 millions par mois. Non seulement la dame qui a été placée à ce poste par népotisme ne connaît rien mais elle passe tout son temps à dénigrer, insulter, saboter et calomnier le PR Diomaye Faye, le PM Ousmane Sonko et tout le PASTEF. Monsieur Ibrahima Fall, président de l'ONI est en train de trahir le sacrifice des combattants en maintenant cette dame à son poste.
