Rentrée scolaire 2025-2026 à Thiès : La fondation Pape Matar Sarr soutient 527 élèves avec des fournitures scolaires
Senegalese international Pape Matar Sarr continues to make a name for himself, not only on the football pitch, but also through his constant commitment to his community, multiplying, through his foundation, solidarity initiatives that bring a breath of hope to the population.
For the 2025 school year, the midfielder has chosen to invest in education, by taking charge of school supplies for 527 students from 118 families. The official handover is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, at 4 p.m., in Sarrène, in the Mbour 1 district of Thiès.
This gesture is the latest in a long line of actions carried out by the Pape Matar Sarr Foundation throughout the year. It has notably been illustrated by the support given to inmates at the Thiès Detention and Correctional Facility during the month of Ramadan, assistance to flood victims, support for children in vulnerable situations, as well as regular interventions in the health and education sectors.
In this context, a delegation from the foundation met with Mariama Cissokho, director of the Thiès regional hospital, on September 30. A working session allowed for an assessment of the establishment's most pressing needs: acquisition of hospital beds and medical equipment, rehabilitation of infrastructure, construction of shelters for accompanying persons, purchase of a medical ambulance and improvement of the hospital environment.
The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to providing concrete responses to these emergencies, prioritizing the acquisition of beds to strengthen the hospital's capacity.

C'est bien ! Good job !
BRAVO jeune homme !
BRAVO encore !
