Burkina Faso : baisse des prix des médicaments dès le 1er mars 2026
The Council of Ministers on February 12, 2026, chaired by [name missing], adopted the reduction, from March 1, 2026, of the prices of certain essential medicines, health products and medical consumables.
These reductions can reach 53% for injectables, 67% for tablets, 72% for consumables and 20% for syrups.
The State is mobilizing approximately 3 billion FCFA to support this measure, which is part of the government's commitment to facilitating equitable access to healthcare for the entire population.
