Burkina Faso et le Ghana ont conclu des accords sur la lutte contre le trafic de stupéfiants

Burkina Faso and Ghana decided to strengthen their multi-sectoral cooperation following the 13th Joint Commission held on February 20, 2026.

Seven legal instruments have been adopted to boost the Ouagadougou–Accra axis. They relate in particular to transport and transit, the mutual recognition of driving licenses, as well as the prevention and management of disasters and humanitarian crises.

The two countries also concluded agreements on combating drug and psychotropic substance trafficking, cross-border cooperation, reaffirming their common border and establishing regular consultation frameworks between border administrative authorities.
