The President of Faso, Ibrahim Traoré, chaired the Council of Ministers on October 2, 2025, which adopted a decree dissolving the Professional Association of Independent Representatives Qnet.
According to Justice Minister Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, the organization engaged in fraud, swindling, and human trafficking. More than 2,000 victims and 1,300 complaints were recorded, resulting in losses estimated at more than one billion CFA francs.
The association, which had already been suspended before, was finally dissolved following the investigation. The government is calling on the public to be wary of promises of easy money and fraudulent offers circulating online.
