Dalein appelle les Guinéens à boycotter le référendum du 21 septembre : « Même si vous votez Non, votre vote sera compté Oui »
Just days before the constitutional referendum scheduled for September 21, former Guinean Prime Minister and political leader Cellou Dalein Diallo has spoken out to urge his compatriots to refrain from participating in the vote. He describes the election as a "masquerade" orchestrated by the military junta led by General Mamadi Doumbouya.
In his message, Dalein called for national unity, urging Guineans to transcend political, regional, and ethnic divides. "Guinea is our common home, our common good," he said.
According to the former Prime Minister, the referendum is only intended to legitimize a "constitutional coup" and allow the CNRD to remain in power. "Even if you vote No, your vote will be counted as Yes. So do not participate in this potential theft of Guinean votes," he said.
He also reaffirmed that his camp will not participate in the election: "We have withdrawn our confidence in the CNRD and its president, guilty of having betrayed their oath and plundered our rights and freedoms."
A call for peaceful resistance
Cellou Dalein Diallo stressed the need for citizen mobilization beyond abstention. "Resistance does not only mean refraining from participating in the electoral charade of September 21, 2025, but also continuing with greater determination the fight against dictatorship and for the establishment of democracy and the rule of law," he declared.
Message to the international community
The opposition leader also called on Guinea's external partners not to endorse the process. "Do not endorse a sham democracy. Understand that there is no stability without justice, no lasting peace without freedom," he insisted.

Trop de grossières erreurs dans la vie politique de ce gars. Et principalement la diabolisation de Siradiou Diallo. Maintenant, son alliance avec Alpha Condé.
