Incendie au ministère guinéen de la Sécurité : le feu maîtrisé, aucune perte en vie humaine
A fire broke out on the evening of Sunday, November 23, at the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection in Conakry. The blaze, which affected part of the main building, was quickly brought under control thanks to the intervention of firefighters.
Accompanied by several senior officials from his department, the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Bachir Diallo, visited the site to assess the damage. He then issued firm instructions to secure the premises, protect the archives, and launch a technical investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.

"Around 9-10 p.m., a fire broke out in the ministry's premises, specifically on the first floor, in the office of the secretary general and that of another official. Alerted, the civil protection service intervened in time, which allowed the fire to be brought under control. As I speak to you, the fire is under control," declared Minister Bachir Diallo.
The minister sought to reassure the public by stating that no loss of life had been recorded.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties, no deaths, only material damage," he said, while praising the teams mobilized for their responsiveness.

Bachir Diallo finally assured that all necessary measures will be taken to restore the ministry to its normal operating conditions from this Monday, November 24.
