Ghana : elle invente la m0rt de son mari pour récolter des dons à la télévision

A heated controversy is currently raging on social media in Ghana following revelations surrounding the testimony of a woman named Amina, who was a guest on a popular television program.

The young woman, who had presented herself as a widow in difficulty, finally admitted to having invented her entire story in order to obtain financial assistance.

Amina had appeared on the Oyerepa Show, hosted by Auntie Naa, a very popular presenter in Ghana. During her appearance, she emotionally recounted that her husband had passed away after a fatal road accident.

According to her account, she lived happily with her husband and child until the tragedy. She also explained that she was pregnant at the time of her husband's death, which occurred in Santasi, in the Ashanti Region, and that she was entirely dependent on him for her needs.

In her testimony, Amina stated that her husband owned a printing company, which she had tried to take over after his death. However, she indicated that she had been the victim of a scam when she tried to invest in the business, which had plunged her into serious financial difficulties.

Moved by this heartbreaking story, the presenter and the show's team decided to provide her with significant financial support. Donations were collected to help her restart her printing business and meet her needs.

But the situation quickly took an unexpected turn. During the broadcast, inconsistencies in her story began to raise suspicions. Confronted with these revelations, Amina finally admitted that the entire story had been fabricated and planned to raise money.

This confession sparked outrage on social media, with many users denouncing it as a manipulation of public generosity. Others, however, cited economic pressure and poverty as factors that could drive some people to desperate acts.
