Guillaume Soro empoisonné ? : La réponse de son porte-parole Moussa Touré
Guillaume Soro, a critic of Alassane Ouattara's regime, has been living in exile for several years. This Thursday, September 11, a wild rumor about him circulated on social media. It suggests that he was poisoned.
"Mr. Guillaume Kigbafori Soro is doing perfectly well,..."
His spokesperson, Moussa Touré, quickly issued a statement to put an end to these rumors.
"I hereby wish to formally and categorically deny: this information is completely unfounded. Mr. Guillaume Kigbafori Soro is doing perfectly well, in excellent health, thank God," wrote Mr. Touré.
He added that his champion is "fully willing, just as Mr. Alassane Ouattara should be, to undergo a complete medical examination, carried out by an independent panel of doctors." The results "may be made public so that everyone can be enlightened."
