Guinée : Meagan Good et Jonathan Majors naturalisés
American film stars Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are now Guinean citizens. The two American stars traveled to Guinea after tracing their ancestry there through DNA testing. They received Guinean citizenship and passports on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
According to Jonathan Majors, star of the films "Creed" and "Ant-Man", obtaining this nationality would allow the couple to "bridge the gap" and bring together their "stories" as artists and members of the African diaspora.
For her part, Meagan Good, who is visiting Guinea for the first time, expressed her deep gratitude for this gesture.
This initiative was spearheaded by the Ministry of Culture and Crafts. According to the Minister, Moussa Moïse Sylla, it reflects a clear desire to reclaim control of the narrative surrounding Guinea and to promote the national cultural heritage. This action also aims to encourage people of African descent to reclaim their heritage and invest in the continent.
