The victim, Gnara Camara, only 18 years old, was found with her throat slashed. According to Mr. Oularé, president of the Matagania district, the alarm was raised around 7 a.m. by a neighbor.

“The police commissioner informed me that a crime had been committed in the Kalinkö Coura area. Accompanied by the gendarmerie and the sector chief, we went to the scene. Upon opening the door of the room, we discovered the young woman on the floor, already dead,” he testified.
