On the eve of the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic, Mamadi Doumbouya, the diplomatic flurry continues at the Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport in Conakry.
This Friday, the Gambian Head of State, His Excellency Adama Barrow, arrived in Guinea to participate in this important ceremony. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah, surrounded by several members of the Guinean government. The two leaders exchanged a warm handshake before a brief meeting marked by a cordial and fraternal atmosphere.
Meeting with the Gambian community
President Adama Barrow then greeted the Gambian nationals who had come in large numbers to the airport to welcome him, expressing his joy at returning to Guinea on this symbolic occasion.
His presence in Conakry testifies to the strengthening of the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Guinea and The Gambia, two nations united by historical and fraternal relations.
