Côte d’Ivoire : Gbagbo dissout une structure de son parti, le PPA-CI
In Côte d'Ivoire, the spokesperson for the PPA-CI, Habiba Touré, issued a statement announcing the dissolution of the National Executive Bureau of the party's Youth League. This decision, made by President Laurent Gbagbo, comes after the "dismissal of Comrade Dalli Arthur Prince Richard, Deputy Secretary General in charge of the interim leadership of the Youth League."
His name was indeed among the 22 PPA-CI officials dismissed for "disobedience" and "insubordination" on Wednesday, November 19. They are accused of having run in the upcoming December legislative elections against the party's decision. The PPA-CI had decided not to participate in the election.
