« Je vais couper le micro » : Drôle d’incident entre la première dame du Nigéria et l’oncle du chanteur Davido

The Ooni (monarch) of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of his coronation. Yesterday, Sunday, at the start of the festivities, the public witnessed a minor incident involving the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, and the Prime Minister of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu.

Invited onto the stage to deliver his speech, Governor Adeleke performed a few dance steps before launching into a song, just to remind the audience that he truly deserved his nickname of "Dancing Governor".

" Go for it " !

Part of the audience, amused, laughed heartily. Senator Remi, who had received her title of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua a little earlier, approached Davido's uncle to ask him to give his speech.

“Go ahead,” she called after him as she returned to her seat. Adeleke didn’t listen. He resumed his song with renewed vigor. This prompted the First Lady to intervene more firmly: “That’s enough with the music, or I’ll cut the microphone.” The governor finally began his speech, amidst the murmurs and laughter that filled the room.

The guests clearly weren't expecting such a reaction from the First Lady. The video of the scene has gone viral online.
