La future première dame du Bénin est franco-burkinabé
Next May, Benin's president-elect, Romuald Wadagni, will be sworn in in Porto-Novo. This chartered accountant, though discreet, is well-known to the Beninese public, having served as finance minister under President Patrice Talon for about ten years. This is not the case for his wife, Nathalie Villette, a French-Burkinabe banker born in Ouagadougou in 1975 to a French father and a Burkinabe mother.
Graduate of Harvard Business School and Saïd Business School
She holds a master's degree in banking and finance from Paris Dauphine University and is also a graduate of Paris 13 University, Harvard Business School, and the Saïd Business School at Oxford. She has worked in leading regional financial institutions and major investment banks.
Former executive at Ecobank Tanzania
She has approximately fifteen years of experience in leveraged finance and acquisitions, corporate lending, and international business development. Nathalie Vilette notably held senior positions at Ecobank Tanzania. She is the mother of two children.
