Le message de Nathalie Yamb au président tchadien après la mort de Saif al-Islam Kadhafi
The recent visit of Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to France has not gone down well with Nathalie Yamb. In a video recording, she sharply accuses the marshal of having gone there to "plot against his African brothers."
“You know that almost all your borders are problematic, except for the one with Niger. So, when are you going to sit down with someone who dreams of attacking Niger and bringing down the Sahel? If you are going to build strong relationships, it is with your neighbors… Mr. President, what you are heading towards is not good. Everything that is being proposed to you, know that these are traps being set for you. Never believe that today’s truth is the truth of a lifetime,” the activist told the Chadian president.
"These are the same people you'll be dealing with to destabilize Niger who will be used against you..."
She urges him to understand as soon as possible that France is not her "friend".
“The small maneuvers that may seem tactically interesting to you are ineffective against people who are engaged in strategic thinking and planning. The guys they bring to your country, whether they're from the DGSE, the CIA… one day they'll outmaneuver you. These are the same people you'll be dealing with to destabilize Niger who will be used against you to overthrow or eliminate you one day. Take the example of your father, Idriss, who played a love-hate game with them, like Muammar (Gaddafi), the father of Saif al-Islam. Look how they ended up with Saif himself,” Nathalie Yamb remarked, still addressing the Chadian leader.
"France's interest lies in rediscovering the Africa of the past, the Africa of Foccart, of the colonies."
For the Swiss-Cameroonian, "France's interest is to rediscover the Africa of the past, the Africa of Foccart, of the colonies."
“His interest is not in speaking to a prosperous, united, and peaceful Chad,” asserts the activist, convinced that Paris would be more than happy to have a “lackey” at the head of the Sahelian country. But this lackey will certainly not be Marshal Déby, because he has already shown them that he can “hit them hard, hurt them. And they won’t forget that.” “It could take 30 years, 50 years, they will get their revenge,” assures Abdourahmane Tiani, special advisor to Nigerien President Chad.
