L’État du Sénégal organise le premier BTS en Droit Notarial et Profession Immobilière à l’IDM Saly
On August 4 and 5 in Saly, the Institute of Law and Management (IDM) made history by hosting the very first session of the Higher Technician Certificate (BTS) in Notarial Law and Real Estate Profession in Senegal. An initiative supported by the State, through the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Training, which opens new perspectives in these strategic areas.
- Two innovative BTS programs for careers of the future
The BTS in Notarial Law in APC (skills-based approach) trains specialized senior technicians capable of assisting notaries in drafting legal documents, managing client files, and procedures related to real estate and family law. This diploma meets a crucial need for qualified professionals in a booming sector.
The BTS in Real Estate Profession in APC also prepares experts in real estate transactions, management, and valuation. With the expansion of the land market and major urban projects in Senegal, this training offers promising opportunities.
- IDM Saly, an institute of excellence, has established itself as a leading training center. Its pedagogical approach, combining theory and practice, as well as its partnership with legal and real estate professionals, have enabled its students to shine from this first session.
- 100% success: a historic performance
The results were exceptional: 100% success rate, with 4 candidates admitted, including 2 in Notarial Law and 2 in Real Estate. These pioneers thus become the first graduates of these courses in the history of Senegal, an achievement hailed by the entire educational community.
The Director General of IDM, Mr. Ndiaga NDIAYE, wished to express his gratitude to the institutions which made this project possible:
- The Ministry of Vocational and Technical Training, through the Directorate of Private Establishments, for its unwavering support.
- The Examinations and Competitions Department, for its rigorous technical support.
- The Thiès Academy Inspectorate, for its supervision and collaboration.
This success is the result of collective work and a shared vision for youth employability. We are proud to contribute to the emergence of rare and essential skills for our country, said Mr. Ndiaye.
A major step forward for vocational training
This initiative is part of the government's policy to diversify training offerings and adapt skills to market needs. IDM Saly, through its leadership and innovation, is paving the way for a new generation of legal and real estate professionals.

Cette nouvelle formation est la bienvenue mais est ce que l'institut est accrédité.
Je suis dans l'enseignement supérieur depuis plus de 20 ans et le constat récurrent est qu'on a besoin d'une qualification précise et pointue pour chaque domaine d'activité professionnelle.
L'immobilier a toujours constitué le domaine de récupération de tous ceux qui ne savaient pas où aller parce-que n'ayant eu aucune formation.
Aujourd'hui, alors que c'est le domaine qui pose le plus de problèmes à l'État et aux populations par une législation mal pensée et une boulimie innomable des propriétaires, il est grand temps qu'on forme de vrais professionnels pour s'en charger.
En 2018, j'avais encouragé madame MB de Marseille à créer l'IPJ à Mermoz et c'est devenu aujourd'hui un institut de référence.
J'interviens à l'IDA de l'ISM qui fait une excellente formation en matière de Droit des affaires y compris le Droit Notarial à travers le pays, mais tout cela est insuffisant au vu de l'importance du marché de l'immobilier et de ses perspectives.
Alors, foncez chers promoteurs car il y'a la mer à boire dans ce secteur.
