Mali : la condamnation de l’ex-Premier ministre Moussa Mara confirmée en appel
The Bamako Court of Appeal confirmed on Monday the conviction of former Prime Minister Moussa Mara to two years in prison, one year of which is suspended, for "undermining the credit of the State" and "opposition to legitimate authority", following a message published on social networks.
His lawyers denounce an unjustified decision and an attack on freedom of expression, and announce an appeal to the Court of Cassation.
