Mali : un rapport américain dénonce l’échec des mercenaires russes dans la lutte anti-terroriste
The Washington-based US research organization The Sentry has published a critical report on the presence of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner, renamed Afrika Korps, in Mali. According to its findings, far from having strengthened security since their deployment in January 2022, these mercenaries have contributed to increasing violence and weakening the relationship between the Malian army and the civilian population.
After nearly a year of investigation, The Sentry researchers believe the security situation in central and northern Mali has deteriorated. Civilians, already facing attacks from jihadist groups, are now also suffering abuses attributed to the Malian armed forces and their Russian partners.
The organization emphasizes that the population's trust in the national army has been eroded by a strategy deemed brutal. Justyna Gudzowska, executive director of "The Sentry," says that relations between the FMA and civilians were previously more constructive before Wagner's arrival, with residents passing on information to the military, particularly through local health networks. This allowed the armed forces to more effectively target armed groups while protecting the population.
Today, Wagner's methods, often described as expeditious, have shattered that bond of trust. Malian authorities and their supporters vigorously contest this report.
Younous Soumarais, Secretary General of the Military Defense Collective, believes this is a campaign aimed at discrediting the army. This document is not based on any solid evidence. The FMA remains professional and respected.
Beyond these findings, The Sentry calls on the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to open an investigation into the alleged crimes committed by Russian mercenaries in Mali. Failing that, the organization advocates for the UN Security Council to refer the matter to the ICC to ensure that human rights violations do not go unpunished.

Les Americains combattent les terroristes en Afrique sans rien demander. Les USA ne vont jamais laisser un pays cotier avec directe ligne sur les cote americaines tomber entre les mains des terroristes ou les Russes.
Ces regimes militaires de l'AES ne veulent juste pas de democratie comme ca sera leur fin...Donc ils vont s'accrocher, s'enrichir et laisser les populations etre tue par les terroristes et souffrir.
Les russes et les militaires ont tout fait pour expulser les observateurs étrangers qui dénonçaient les crimes commis par les russes et les Fa Ma dans la région de Gao.
Même si les américains ont probablement raison, il ne faut pas oublier qu'ils sont en "opération séduction" pour que le Mali remplace les mercenaires russes par l'armée américaine. Ils ne font jamais rien pour rien.

Pour les terrorists et les droits de l'homme , il y a beaucoup plus à faire à Gaza et à Kiev qu'au Mali .
