Niger : Le gouvernement impose l’achat de produits locaux pour renforcer la souveraineté économique
The Nigerien government adopted, during the Council of Ministers of October 22, 2025, a decree and an ordinance intended to protect and promote local products.
The decree now establishes the obligation for administrations, public companies and organizations receiving state subsidies to purchase local products, except in cases of unavailability.
This measure is part of the vision of the President of the Republic aimed at developing the national production bases for sustainable economic sovereignty.
