Passeports officiels : levée du visa entre le Burkina et l’Italie
The Burkinabe Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday, September 11, 2025, the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports between Burkina Faso and Italy.
According to Burkinabe diplomacy, since August 19, 2025, the Italian authorities have notified that Burkinabe nationals holding diplomatic and service passports are exempt from visa requirements for short stays of less than 90 days in Italian territory.
In reciprocity, the Burkinabe government granted the same measure to Italians holding diplomatic or service passports.
The Burkinabe ministry emphasizes, however, that this exemption applies only to Italy and does not grant the right to free movement within the Schengen area.
This decision illustrates the good level of cooperation between Ouagadougou and Rome, at a time when relations between Burkina Faso and France have deteriorated significantly since Captain Ibrahim Traoré came to power in September 2022.

ça ne semble pas avoir mordu, efffectivement ; mais c'est parce qu'ils ont mentionné Burkina dans le titre. Je pense que s'ils s'étaient contentés d'écrire " levée de visa pour l'Italie ", le ministre Cheikh Tigiane Dièye aurait beaucoup de soucis avec une grosse inondations de clics sur cet article.

Comment faire pour avoir un passport diplo Burkinabé ? Parce que pour celui du Sénégal sous Wade et Macky, c'était fastoche. Même les chinois en disposaient
