Prix national des droits de l’homme : Pape Natango Mbaye primé
The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) organised the first edition of the National Human Rights Prize on December 15 in Dakar.
This initiative by the CNDH aims to embed the culture of human rights in Senegalese society.
For this first edition, four categories of awards were given: the National Human Rights Prize, the Honorary Prize, the Special Recognition Prize and the Resilience Prize.
During the official ceremony, which was attended by the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, prominent figures and human rights actors, the Resilience Prize was awarded to Pape Natango Mbaye.
According to the president of the CNDH Amsatou Sow Sidibé, the resilience prize was awarded to Pape Natango Mbaye in recognition of his exceptional courage and determination in the face of adversity.
