While participating in the Owerri Economic Summit (city in Nigeria) yesterday, Thursday, December 4, the industrialist declared that his group would invest massively in urea production, in order to rise to the rank of world's leading fertilizer producer within three years.
"Only a local investor can convince a foreign investor to invest in their country."
"We will increase our urea production capacity from 3 million tons currently to 12 million tons by 2028, in order to become the world's leading fertilizer producer," said Aliko Dangote.
For the Nigerian billionaire, the time has come for Africans to achieve greatness and occupy their rightful place in the business world.
He urges them to invest in their country, adding that "only a local investor can convince a foreign investor to invest in their country."
