Scrutin Côte d’Ivoire : Couvre-feu instauré à Yamoussoukro
In Côte d'Ivoire, the presidential election is tomorrow, Saturday, October 25, 2025. Administrative authorities are already beginning to take restrictive measures. Indeed, the Prefect of the Department of Yamoussoukro has announced the establishment of a curfew throughout the territory of his department, for this Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
However, this does not apply to members of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), the Prefectural Authorities of the Department, candidates or their duly authorized representatives, electoral agents, the Staff of the Office of the Prefect of the Department, national and international observers, journalists accredited by the CEI, etc.
