Union africaine : L'Algérie saluée pour le lancement réussi du satellite Alsat-3A
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, congratulated Algeria following the successful launch of the Alsat-3A Earth observation satellite, a major step forward for the continent's space and geospatial capabilities.
He stressed that this achievement illustrates Algeria's leadership in space sciences and its commitment to putting satellite technologies at the service of sustainable development, environmental monitoring, disaster risk reduction and better decision-making.
The President of the Commission expressed hope that the high-resolution data provided by Alsat-3A would contribute effectively to national and continental priorities, in line with Agenda 2063 and African space policy.
