Bignona : De l'engrais organique et de l'amendement foliaire distribués à des agriculteurs pour promouvoir l'agro-écologie
Producers and farmers who are members of the Dynamics for a Local Agroecological Transition (DYTAEL) in Bignona received subsidized agricultural inputs from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Livestock. "We received a grant of 150 tons of organic fertilizer and 1,500 liters of foliar amendment. This means that the Dynamics for an Agroecological Transition in Senegal (DYTAES), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, has effectively advocated. And we are now putting these actions into practice," emphasized Clément Sambou, Secretary General of the DYTAEL in Bignona.
Mr. Sambou added that farmers' organizations, family houses, associations and economic interest groups, agricultural entrepreneurs, among others, received their grants after an awareness campaign on the use of these inputs for a good agricultural season.
The subsidy for these inputs will encourage the option of agriculture without fertilizers and chemicals, for healthy production, in order to have healthy consumption, affirmed Clément Sambou.
