[Humorous Post] State-transporters: When it inflates too much, everything ends up bursting!

[Billet d'humour] État-transporteurs : Quand ça gonfle trop, tout finit par crever !

Several hours of meetings to produce absolutely nothing. At this rate, some transport companies seem to have mastered the art of blockade better than the art of movement. Indefinite strike, unlimited demands, but limited concessions… or even none at all. They hold the reins, but the country remains at a standstill.

They cry foul over the lack of an agreement, but for years they've been driving by their own rules: chronic overloading, makeshift vehicles, and safety as an optional extra. Now they demand guarantees like they're demanding a full tank of gas… after having long been operating on the edge of regulatory compliance. And when it's necessary to stop and repair the system, they bring the entire country to a standstill.

The average citizen has already figured it out: in this country, transportation is the only sector where you can be at a standstill… while still creating movement. Crowds at bus stops, tempers simmering in homes, and above all, heads bobbing to figure out who's telling the truth. Because between "no points of agreement" and "several points validated," there's a chasm… as wide as a pothole after winter.

While the two sides are locked in a power struggle, the average Senegalese person is running a marathon. Walking has become the new mode of transportation. Instead of taking the minibus, people are becoming fast themselves. The result: workers transformed into athletes against their will, without medals, without bonuses… just exhaustion as a trophy.

But ultimately, the real problem isn't just the strike. It's this system where "12 seats" become 19, sometimes 25, depending on the conductor's mood. A mechanical marvel that even engineers wouldn't dare patent. And on the road, some drivers confuse their driver's license with a license to tempt fate: risky overtaking, erratic speeds… death sometimes travels faster than the passengers.

So yes, we need to "puncture the tire." But not the one you think. We need to puncture impunity, deflate chaos, and inflate responsibility. Otherwise, tomorrow we'll be negotiating again… while the roads continue to count the missing. And no agreement can fix that.
