A rapidly expanding media group is recruiting a Marketing Manager
Desired profile
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Digital Communication, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the media, communications agency, or digital sector
Your tasks
Strategy and development:
Develop and implement the group's marketing strategy
Develop the awareness and brand image of the group's media outlets
Conduct market research and analyze media sector trends in Senegal
Ensure the Group's visibility
Identify new growth opportunities and market segments
Operational and digital marketing:
Manage marketing and promotional campaigns (offline and online)
Participate in managing the group's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Create engaging content and optimize for search engine optimization (SEO).
Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
. Manage the group's community and online reputation
Communication and event management:
Design communication materials (brochures, newsletters, sales presentations)
Organize and coordinate promotional and public relations events
Manage relationships with media partners and external service providers
Analysis and reporting:
Track and analyze the performance of marketing activities (KPIs, ROI)
Develop activity reports and strategic recommendations
Skills and qualities required
Technical skills:
Excellent command of the entire marketing environment
Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite - a major asset)
Good knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite)
Skills in managing online advertising campaigns
Mastery of content marketing and copywriting techniques
Excellent writing skills in French (English preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
Personal qualities:
Creativity and a sense of innovation
Analytical skills and ability to interpret data
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Autonomy, proactivity and a proactive approach
Ability to work in a team and across departments
Good knowledge of the Senegalese media landscape
Sensitivity to the press and information sector
