TECNO répond à l'incident de verrouillage du téléphone : protéger les droits des consommateurs, pas les violer !
Recently, there has been a rumor circulating in the society that TECNO is monitoring consumers' privacy through phone locks. Here, we would like to assure all consumers that this is false.
Device locking is one of the brand's management methods to combat counterfeiting and illegal entry of products, with the aim of ensuring that consumers who purchase from TECNO stores legally enjoy all their rights and interests.
The remote device lock function does not directly access the user's phone data, but rather connects to the phone's serial number through the system to perform the locking action. For example, if your phone is lost, you can also go to the after-sales service center to request a device lock. This can protect the user's legitimate rights and interests.
If a user's phone is currently locked, they can visit the Carlcare office at the brand's after-sales service center to unlock it.
Second, illegal access to user data is a violation of the law in all countries. As a mobile phone brand with nearly 20 years of history, TECNO would not have survived this long if it had violated the law.
