LONASE is selling, and it's doing it well. In the first half of the year, the national company generated more than 20 billion CFA francs in revenue, excluding depreciation. A result that, in other times, would have made headlines and been hailed as a success for the new management. But these figures, barely out, are drowned out by the din of a certain press that seems to have made Tout Saint its preferred target. A press whose only profit is to buy credibility by relentlessly attacking the strong men of the moment.
The contrast is striking. On one side, a company that creates wealth for the state, and on the other, media whose only audience is often limited to "Thiaf saleswomen," because no one sane reads them. The attacks that are being launched are not based on economic reality, but on a relentlessness worthy of a vendetta. Faced with this storm, the man has chosen a masterful posture, summed up by a phrase that resonates with wisdom: "I forgive you." Good heavens, what wisdom! This is the true meaning of "turning the other cheek," a response not through violence, but through forgiveness, while defending oneself with the facts.
The first salvo was that of "lavish spending." Figures circulated concerning a budget of 193 million CFA francs for a summer camp, exaggerated to discredit the new management. But the reality is that this camp has been a social asset for the staff's children for years. This budget is co-financed by LONASE and parents. The accusations on social media are pure misinformation.
The truth is much deeper and is rooted in social and human logic. Behind the 20 billion in profits are women and men who work tirelessly, from Monday to Sunday. Summer camp is not an expense, but a legitimate compensation that allows the children of these
agents to discover the country and contribute to the growth of local tourism. Far from being a burden, it is a social asset that contributes to internal cohesion and, indirectly, to the dynamism of the company. Especially since LONASE had the means to have them visit Asia or America. Even when it comes to doing good for children, you still find something to complain about. What kind of world are we in?
Then came the burning issue of the 100 million CFA franc contract with the GFM press group. For many, this signaled a blatant contradiction with the advocated "break" policy. But Tout Saint, far from apologizing, is quite right to justify this choice as an economic logic to relaunch the company's products on the market. It's LONASE, come on! You have to sell to survive. Sell to build schools for your children and renovate hospitals for your well-being. This partnership could have generated a colossal return on investment, more than 6 billion CFA francs from the lottery alone. An investment for growth, which some preferred to present as a gift for a press seeking survival.

He has chosen to confront his detractors with facts and figures. As in football, it's not enough to score goals, you have to win the match. And for now, Manga's LONASE won't draw you a picture. It won the game, leaving behind a certain press which, by preferring sensationalism to information, has undoubtedly already lost the battle for credibility.

@Seneweb, voulez-vous bien assumer la profession que vous exercez s'il vous plaît ? Depuis quelques jours, de plus en plus d'articles disparaissent dès que les commentaires négatifs s'accumulent. C'est le cas pour les deux articles sur les 10 mille tonnes de blé américain livrées par un bateau. Ou, c'est de gros titres qui sont minimisés (transfert de F Ngom du PS à l'HPD).
