The final mission: Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké thus completes his vocation as "promoter of mosques" before joining eternity alongside his revered grandfather Serigne TOUBA .

The work of Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké is enshrined in the pantheon of the greatest builders of Islam in West Africa. He fulfilled the dearest wish of his grandfather, Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, by participating in the transformation of the Great Mosque of Touba into a timeless spiritual jewel.

A Destiny Linked to the Service of God

The Spiritual Heritage : Son of Serigne Saliou Mbacké and grandson of Khadimou Rassoul, he carried within him rigor, humility and absolute devotion to Mouridism.

The Discreet Builder : His contribution of more than one billion CFA francs, paid in the purest discretion, embodies the Mouride principle of Khidma (selfless service).

Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké erected several masterpieces across Senegal , thus materializing a deep wish of his father, Serigne Saliou Mbacké, who aspired to dot the country with high places of prayer and education.

The Mbour Mosque

1. The Great Mosque of Mbour (Grand-Mbour District) : Built to be a faithful replica of the Great Mosque of Touba, this majestic edifice was officially inaugurated on Sunday, June 21, 2015. It directly fulfilled the historic wish of its founder, who desired a grand Mouride mosque on the Petite-Côte.

The Mosques in Touba and Mbacké

1. The Touba Almadies Mosque : An imposing religious building constructed with personal funds by the holy man for the expansion of faith in this dynamic area.
2. The Great Mosque “Touba-Mbacké” (in Mbacké) : Entirely built by him and solemnly inaugurated on Friday, March 31, 2023.

In Rural and Agricultural Areas

1. The Lagane Mosque (Fatick Region) : Located in the Gossas department, within a major agricultural area invested in by the marabout. It was officially inaugurated on November 18, 2022.
2. The Mosques of the Daaras (Khelcom) : As a large agricultural producer and educator, he endowed several of his large estates with daaras and prayer complexes for his disciples ( talibés ).
