Coopération bilatérale : Ousmane Sonko reçoit l’ambassadeur d’Allemagne et annonce un forum économique à Berlin
The Prime Minister of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in an audience described as constructive and in-depth. This meeting is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Dakar and Berlin.
During the discussions, both parties praised the quality of the Senegalese-German partnership, based on trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to development. The discussions focused in particular on prospects for economic cooperation, investments, and opportunities for strategic partnerships.
The Senegalese government reaffirmed its commitment to fully exploiting the significant potential of economic relations between the two countries, for the benefit of both nations and their people. The objective is to promote prosperity and create more opportunities for the Senegalese people.
With this in mind, a German-Senegalese economic forum will be held in Berlin in June 2026. This event will mark a new stage in strengthening economic relations and is expected to bring together institutional and private sector stakeholders from both countries.
