Diomaye Faye et Félix Tshisekedi renforcent la coopération entre le Sénégal et la RDC à Luanda
During his visit to the Angolan capital, the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, held talks on Monday with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two heads of state to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Dakar and Kinshasa. They also commended the strong bonds of friendship and fraternity uniting the Senegalese and Congolese peoples.
During their discussions, Presidents Faye and Tshisekedi addressed several major challenges facing the continent, including issues of peace, security, development, and African integration. They emphasized the need for strengthened cooperation among African countries to better coordinate responses to current challenges.
This meeting marks a new stage in the rapprochement between Senegal and the DRC, with the stated desire to build an even more dynamic partnership serving the people of both countries.
