Évacué à Dakar après un malaise : les propos du Premier ministre bissau-guinéen face à Diomaye Faye
President Bassirou Diomaye Faye received the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau, Braima Camara, on Monday, September 15. Le Soleil reports that the latter, who fell ill on August 25 in Bissau, was evacuated by military flight to Dakar's Main Hospital.
In a statement to the national daily, he expressed his gratitude to Senegal for the support and welcome he received during his recent medical stay. He thanked the Senegalese government, medical staff, and the government for their availability and commitment during his hospitalization.
After his meeting with the Senegalese head of state, he praised the efforts of Presidents Faye and Embaló to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The Guinea-Bissau Prime Minister also expressed his readiness to work with his Senegalese counterpart, Ousmane Sonko, to consolidate bilateral cooperation and promote development, stability, and prosperity in the region.
