Maison des Nations Unies : Yassine Fall tient un point de presse aujourd’hui
The Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs is holding a press briefing this Tuesday to provide clarification on the United Nations House in Diamniadio, which has remained unoccupied since its inauguration.
Inaugurated in 2023 under the presidency of Macky Sall, this vast complex covers 14 hectares and includes 60,000 m², including 40,000 m² of offices intended to accommodate more than thirty United Nations agencies operating in West Africa.
Designed by the international architecture firm Wilmotte & Associés, the project aimed to centralize the UN offices previously scattered across Dakar and regroup them in Diamniadio as part of a partnership with the UN organization.
Despite an investment of 175 billion CFA francs, this "architectural gem" remains empty, raising questions and criticism. The press briefing comes amid ongoing negotiations between Senegal and the UN, reports L'Observateur, citing a statement from Yassine Fall's office.

permettre de construire 1 maison des NU pour 1 montant aussi important
Jamais vous ne verrez dans les pays du nord ou d'autres pays développés d'envisager 1 tel projet
Plus les gens sont pauvres , plus ces organisations en
profitent
C'est vraiment dommage!!!!
